This two-day course is for new leaders in early years settings and looks at how to become an inspirational leader. Getting your team on board with your vision and being able to give developmental messages can be difficult. Over the course of two days, you will examine your own leadership qualities and look at your strengths. You will also evaluate your weaknesses and devise a plan for how to improve your practice in these areas.
Between the two days, you will be given a ‘gap task’ that will enable you to put some of your skills into action.

This course will ensure your practice is in line with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, The Early Years Framework and The Foundation Phase. It will also support your continuous professional development in line with the Early Years Teachers Standards.
