Child development is one of the most important parts of the job for Early Years practitioners. Children develop in stages, and those stages see them move from being entirely dependent at the youngest stages, to increasingly independent and unique individuals.
This course will look at the development of a child between ages three and five-years-old, along with ways to improve the development of a child and aspects of life that can halt progression. This stage is an exciting time in a child’s development but presents its own challenges, as everything is new and ever-changing for children.
