Children begin to discover reading from a very early age, through the signs, names, and logos in the world around them. This means that a lot of the time children are entering an early years setting with an already extensive exposure to reading. Because of this, it is vital that early years practitioners know how to develop this skill.
This course will help practitioners to build an environment in which reading can thrive and succeed and will look at the benefits and methods of developing reading and literacy.
