Every child deserves the best possible start in life, with the opportunity to develop in an environment that is both safe and secure. Parents who use Early Years services should be able to do so with the utmost confidence that their children will be getting the best possible experiences and are always protected from harm. The premises and equipment should be clean, and providers should be aware of the requirements of current health and safety legislation (including hygiene requirements).
