The role of a father is crucially important in a young child’s life, yet fathers often don’t have the same level of involvement in their child’s lives as mothers do. Research tells us that fathers have a substantial impact on a child’s development and that a child achieves more if fathers are involved.
This course will look at the reasons why it is often such a challenge to get fathers involved, as well as examining ways you can improve engagement with fathers in your own Early Years settings.
