It means ensuring that children are safe and protected from harm online – but also supported to enjoy all the benefits new technology has to offer.

This course will detail e-safety and how practitioners can implement it in their settings.

The learning objectives for this course are as follows:

  2. To know how e-safety should be embedded in the whole origination
  3. To know the policy and procedure you need
  4. To be aware of the risks involved for children and adults
  5. To understand the importance of involving and informing parents

This course ensures your practice is in line with the requirements of the Childcare Act 2006 (the Act), as amended by the Children and Families Act 2014. It will also support your continuous professional development and enable you to keep well informed and up-to-date with current practice.
